Welcome

Welcome to my website, which is new as of January 2015.

Work

I work professionally as a technical documentation writer.
I am currently available for freelance work.

Projects

When neither out & about nor working on a freelance gig, I occupy myself with both serious and not-so-serious projects, which I designate generally as research and development.

Current research and development projects include:
  • LFP, a recipe for light & fluffy pancakes, featuring use of egg-white foam as in soufflés, following Harold McGee (OFC, pp. 100-106) and Alice Waters (ASF, p. 276)
  • CST (Constructive Space Theory), a theory of space as modal form, featuring:
    • a method for the construction of spatial objects extending John Horton Conway's method (in ONAG) for the construction of the surreal numbers
    • a setting in HoTT (Homotopy Type Theory)
    • a connection to David Ellerman's Logic of Partitions

Previous research and development projects have included:
  • PER (the Principle of Essential Representation), a single, basic principle for object-oriented, relational, and modular conceptual design
  • TOOF, a theory of organizational form
